HANDICAP & POINT SYSTEM FOR 2011

All handicaps will be adjusted after each round using the formula below.

Club course average on the day will be par.

A' Grade    0 – 18

OUT .2 per game

IN .2 per shot

B' Grade   18.5 – 27

OUT .1 per game

IN .2 per shot

C' Grade   27.5 – 36

OUT .1 per game

IN .2 per shot

Winner of a single event will lose min 1 stroke plus formula above .

Runner up will lose min .5 stroke plus formula above.

Standard handicapping not incorporating the above formula are as follows:

Winners of a 4ball or any pairs event shall lose 1.5 strokes.

Runners up of a 4ball or any pairs event shall lose .5 stroke.

3rd place in a pairs event , handicap shall remain the same.

*Note- handicaps for unplaced players shall be let out as per formula.

King of the Greens shall be determined by number of par 3 greens hit in 1 stoke, these need to be marked at the top of

the score card CLEARLY with BIRDIES & PARS ETC.

COUNT BACK SYSTEM:

The following method shall be used for all events (as per score card) The best nett score for the last 9

holes, if there is still a tie the last six holes, or if there is still a tie the last 3 holes, if a tie still persists

then hole by hole from the 18th .

GAME SPONSORS:

The committee asks that sponsors ( maximum of 2 members per game ) spend $100.

Prizes for games should be as follows:

SINGLE EVENT 1 st & 2nd prizes plus 1 mars bar award.

PAIRS EVENT 2 Equal prizes plus 2 mars bar awards.
